Why the paid line falls there
Storage is not a cost centre and we are not going to sell it as one. The free tier stays completely functional for what it does, and Pro is for people producing guides often enough that three is not enough. Cloud, when it exists, will charge for hosted distribution and drop-off analytics — information a static file genuinely cannot give you.
You can share guides forever without paying us
The self-contained HTML export is one file with every screenshot inlined. Email it, commit it, put it behind your own domain. It works offline and nothing of ours is involved. That is deliberate — it is what makes “one-time” a real claim rather than a subscription wearing a hat.
Model usage is yours
We never bill for AI. Generation runs through the Claude Code CLI you already have, or through an API key you paste in, and it never runs without you pressing the button — so the app cannot quietly spend your quota.
After 12 months
The app keeps working. You stop receiving new versions unless you renew. Licences are per machine and can be moved.
