Terms of Use

1ShowcaseTool is licensed, not sold. A Pro licence is a one-time purchase of $29 covering one machine and includes twelve months of updates from the date of purchase. After that period the version you have keeps working indefinitely; you simply stop receiving new releases unless you renew.

Licences may be deactivated on one machine and activated on another. The free tier requires no licence and has no expiry.

StoicSoft claims no rights over the recordings, screenshots or guides you produce. We do not receive them, and the software is built so that we cannot.

You are responsible for what you record and for what you publish. If you record a screen containing someone else's data, handling that appropriately is on you — the redaction tools exist to help, but they are a tool and not a guarantee.

Generation runs through an AI transport you supply — a local CLI or an API key. Your use of that provider is governed by their terms, and any cost is between you and them. We never charge for model usage and never invoke generation without an explicit action from you.

Generated text is model output. Review it before you publish it.

Automatic detection is heuristic. It will miss things — which is precisely why a human review pass is mandatory before anything can be generated, exported or published. Acknowledging that pass is you confirming you have looked. The software cannot promise that no secret ever survives it, and this document does not make that promise on its behalf.

If the software does not do what this site says it does, ask for your money back and you will get it.

The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoicSoft is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.
